You see trash, we see treasure! Ms Jacobs from Plantation Primary and some of her recycastars found new life for their used Pick n Pay yoghurt tubs. They made little dust bins for every group table, labelled Do Not litter, encouraging the learners to keep a clean, organised desk.
Steps:
- Eat all the yoghurt.
- Clean the tubs thoroughly.
- Using box cutters, cut slats in tub.
- Spray or paint tubs.
- Make a bin sign with a message for keeping your litter in a bin. Secure with string.
- Pierce holes in lid and thread string though.
- Fasten onto back of tub and secure with a bead.
- Decorate sign.
